The man who complains about the way the ball bounces is likely the one who dropped it.

So instead on thinking about the negative and the way things could possibly go wrong, let’s think about and focus on what’s going to be achieved!

It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not. So start believing in yourself!

Think about the last time you drank water

When you are about to snack, ask yourself, “When was the last time I drank water?”

If you feel hungry, realise that you may be in reality only thirsty.

Drink a glass of water first, wait a few minutes, and you’ll realise you didn’t really need that snack!

Eat Food Slowly

It really makes a difference!

  • It gives your brain time to realise you are full
  • You enjoy your meal more
  • It teaches you self control

Better yet, always eat at a dining table and without distractions.

Don’t Diet, Change Your Behaviour & Habits

You’ll only deprive yourself, and the weight will come back.

Focus on changing the behaviours and habits that have caused your weight gain, not the weight itself.

Your body is not a garbage disposal

Get out of the habit of eating all the food on your plate.

If you don’t eat everything on your plate, what would you most likely do with it? You’d probably throw it in the garbage bin.

So when you think about it, when you clean off you plate and you’re not hungry, you’re treating your body like a garbage bin.

Remember to Think Positive

Let’s say that you are going about your day like normal, when you pass by a store window and see your reflection.  Immediately you feel disgusted by how heavy you look, and you start thinking thoughts like this:  “Ugh.  I can’t believe I’m still so fat!  I HAVE to do something about this; I look disgusting and I can’t stand it anymore.  I need to just stop eating altogether - I’ll starve this fat off if I have to.”

Obviously, those thoughts are NOT in alignment with the slender, joyful body you are trying to manifest.  So, you need to start releasing those resistant thoughts and replace them with better thoughts:

“Wait a second - that’s not the kind of reality I want to perpetuate.  It’s true that my body isn’t yet where I want it to be, but I know it will be soon.  One of these days I will walk past a store window or a mirror and be amazed by how great I look.  I will feel really good about my body and feel proud of how beautiful I am.  I’ll go shopping for beautiful clothes that make me feel good when I wear them, and I’ll have plenty of energy to do things that inspire me …”

Keep going with a pleasant line of thoughts like this - and you will immediately shift the frequency you are emitting to the universe.

Understand that this process takes time and consistent effort!  Negative thoughts WILL keep popping up when you least expect them.  But don’t get angry or frustrated about them; instead simply become aware of them and deliberately begin shifting your focus to a more positive place.

Thin Thoughts

The Law of Attraction is activated by your dominant thoughts and beliefs - whatever you focus on the most is what you will draw into your life. The problem is that most of us tend to focus on the very things we DON’T want, like feeling fat, unattractive, imperfect, and more.

Do you find yourself consistently focusing on “fat thoughts”? Like how uncomfortable you are in your clothes? Or how you can’t stand carrying these excess pounds for one second longer?

Unfortunately, the more you focus on those things, the more you will keep perpetuating them in your life. You simply keep strengthening your perception of that reality by constantly focusing on it.

However, when you start improving your focus by introducing “thin thoughts” more and more each day, you start to resonate with that frequency and attract it into your life! Focus on how much you love your body, and you will attract many more reasons to love it. Focus on how good you feel, and you will start feeling better and better. Focus on looking gorgeous, and … you get the idea.

So true! I knew this already, but it’s so easy to slip back into old habits.

How To Start Your Day

Start the day with a motivational sentence or two. I’m going to use this simple one each day:

“I’ve decided to make my life better. I will be healthier and thinner by eating well and exercising.”

Then I’ll be ready to start the day right!
